1hour notice.

Have you read the headline news yesterday? (020509)

The one where the government put an hour notice for the guests to move out of the Aloha Loyang Chalet within an hour?

Unfortunately, we are one of this labour day victim.

We just checked in the day before (300409) at about 3.30pm. And make another 2 more trips to and from home to carry all the stuff for the long weekends.

Pretty much wasted the whole day setting up and waiting for the rest of the families to arrive with their assigned things-to-bring and most of them arrive the next morning about 2am (010509).

Our Itinerary:
300409 : Checked in - settle down - free & easy
010509: Activities (swimming & games) - bbq & food - have fun!
020509: Bbq - More Food - Bowling - prizes
030509: Checked out

In fact the food-to-be-cook has already be assigned to each person. (the mums)

Imagine the raw food , utensils and all the necessities we need for this long happening weekend. ALOT.

1st May (labour day).
After Subuh. 8am we went swimming.
At about 8.35am, my grandad went to the swimming pool to inform us that we need to get out of the place within one hour. Reason: Tsunami.
We thought he was just kidding. Tsunami in Pasir Ris seems a bit off.

Then mum came and say the same thing. Reason: Swine Flu.

It happened so fast and its seems very very very surreal. VERY.

We were shocked. People were cooking, preparing, our ration for the weekend were still left untouched, we are still in our wet suit and towel and our bags are unpacked.

Less than 24hrs and we were kicked out?

We packed up damn fast and the initial 3 trips became 1 trip thanks to the 4 cars that we had with us. No doubt we were damn disappointed. VERY disappointed and somewat angry. One of my cousin is in fact already at the main gate.

Went to my aunt place at Hougang. (She don’t even get to see our chalet. Was suppose to go there later that day). Mums continued to resume cooking there and we had our mini bbq at he corridor.

Games were held. Prizes were given. And at about 12midnight, we went home with the excessive stuffs still in the boot and passenger seats.

2nd May (Saturday)
We gathered at Bukit Batok Civil Service Club for a bowling “tournament”. We had fun and got to know some potential and hidden talents.

Had dinner at Al Ameen (Woodlands) and we talk about our “experience” and the latest news. Contribution of thought and comments. Unhappiness and funny events that happen throughout the two days.

Prizes were given out and at 10am we make our way home.

Exam.. soon !

Who knew that time could fly at an extremely lightning speed.
Its only a few weeks ago when I first attend my first 4th sem lecture.
*sigh*
So much to do so little time.

The projects and consultation assignment.. (which THANK GOD, i’m done with it!) And the training for Sundown Marathon (which I’m so lagging behind) plus wanting to have my own personal time with my best people.

Speaking of best people, CONGRATULATION NAS for passing your class 3A license. Finally! haha I’m so proud of you and am so enjoying myself being drive around the other day despite you being sesat (lost) and stress that day. haha.

Now girl, on a personal note, you really need to be  STRONG. At times, you need to be selfish and  get over your heart and think far. I am really praying that you will do whats best for you. InsyaAllah.

And I do pray for my smooth journey in life. Especially this year. What being in a recession and being at the peak of my “Bachelor” life. I hope to graduate without any hiccups towards the end.

ps: I never thought organizer could be my bestfriend. Back then when I was in sec sch, we were given organizers every year and I am clueless to the reason behind those dates and lines. Now, that is part of my life and I’m clueless WITHOUT it.

Jam’s 22nd !

Am listening to my sacred playlist from the multiply.
No its not the latest songs. Just songs that carry a sweet something from the past. School, Friends, Love…

Anyways, Jam’s 22nd BBQ (100109) was hrm.. memorable.

Left at about 7.30pm, picked Mar & Nadiah up from Gufran Mosque and proceed to Pasir Ris Downtown. CarPark was Full. The girls contacted Farhanah who was on the way and was pleasantly surprised that she too was waiting for an empty lot. We were truly surprised coz we didn’t even know she got her license.(Guess its been a long time huh Hanah) I parked the car at a nearby residential carpark.

Its was tough. Red season parking lot everywhere. Hanah was still stuck without a lot and we ended up in her car and looking for a lot. After a half hour search, a multistorey carpark save us. But… I dont even know which direction to walk. Everyone was following me. haha. All the blocks looked the same to me. After describing a few landmark of the place to the other half, he advised me to take a bus. (Downtown was 2-3 stop away). Oh man!

The road was bare. It was a blessing when a cab drove by and yes! we took a cab there, which cost us $4. The abang driver was a pious man with the white songkok(??) and when we reached Downtown, the door wouldn’t budge.

Driver: “Oh pintu tu kena baca Bismillah dulu”
Me: “Huh serious ke” still tugging the door.
Driver: “Betol..”
Me: Giving in ” Bismillahir…”

Wah the door swing open lah.

Geez.. thats our trip to Jam’s BBQ with all our stuff and pressies.

TWO oh oh NINE

1st January 2009.
4th Muharram 1430.

Its a NEW YEAR !

10 more days and its gonna be my Islamic Birthday! (14th Muharram)

2009 arrived without much enthusiasm from me.
Apart from changing the year for my date stamp at work and some changes pertaining to our work timing and such, theres really nothing much happening around me.

Work, went home and I’m very sleepy now.

InsyaAllah, 2009 gonna marked:
my last two sem in SIM.
my 22nd birthday.

Which remind me,
I was in my parent’s room just now and I came across their wedding picture. Its been there for years but today I put it in my hand and take a look at my mum’s face. She was 22 when she got married. Such young age.

ponder ponder… oh well not the time for me just yet.
hehe

Not a good day.

STUPID CUSTOMERS suddenly decided to go out and make life miserable for me.

for the two crazy customers: I hope you guys got retrenced, run down by a bus, lost half ur face and live in a 2-room flat on the floor, half naked.

You guys are SHIT to the core.

November

November is a very interesting month for me.

Exams over. Meet more of my friends and their other half/or half half (*wink at nas). We had fun and I bet we gonna have more in our pocket. Mebe we should plan for something different..?

Anyhoos, gonna go for a short hols end of the month and will come back in time for my result. Please please please let me clear this sem dear Allah.

I’ve been getting weird dreams lately.
I hope it doesnt mean anything.

semester 3 done!

SO I wrapped up my semester 3 exams with the friends. Our long awaited date at the Karaoke lounge was a success. No am not taking about the typical hole in the pocket kinda K-boxes. This is a $10 per hour rate lounge.

Where? Singtel Recreational Club. Of course tanx to … haha

Anyways, exams over. All 3 papers done. Distribution Channels, Buyer Behaviour, Market Research.

Result gonna be out December 4th.

In the mean time, am just gonna relax and start work this coming Friday and look forward to a short trip end of the month.

First terrible experience ever and my first time with my primary school friends and I think I gave them a negative impression. damn.
